This is our favorite place to play/stay.. This historic hotel is such a treat because the sound is good the people are friendly and you can just go upstairs to your room when the show is over which probably won’t happen but it is nice to know there is a cozy bed just up the steps.

Not sure of all the bands playing tonight but the first one has like 14 some odd people in it. I bet they are good but not as odd as us.
The new record “Human Destination” will be coming out this summer on the new Dandy Warhols inspired label Beat The World Records. We are thrilled to say the least. Excited both by the record that we have been working so hard on and also the relationship with our new partners.
Meeting Sarah Jane in Oklahoma
We are super excited to finally be meeting up with our beloved keyboardist, singer, and shaker Sarah Jane. She is a true artist in every sense of the word,and missed our first two shows because she had a showing of her and Evan B. Harris’ art in Portland at The Grassy Knoll Gallery on First Thursday, the monthly art walk throughout downtown Portland. The show was titled Locks of Lore….
Stove Gallery in Albuquerque
The second show on our way to SXSW was in Albuquerque, NM. Our first of several shows with Spindrift. Two of Albuquerque’s prized venues burned down a few weeks back, so we were booked at a newer up and coming art/music spot called The Stove Gallery. A small place, tall stage, live wall art and, a cool solo local opening act Ghostkimo.

A Van named Steve
Cruising thru central California wine country enroute to Las Vegas, Matt wants his hand held psychedelic disco light show, which was simply tied to the van roof. it turns out to be quite a struggle….

We spent the night with our lovely Turlock family for the first night of our SXSW tour. Anna and Bob left organic rice and beans on the stove because we had gotten a late start (Tristan and Plucky had to drop off their wonderful dog with dog-sitter extraordinaire claire). We woke up to pancakes and smoothies, man they treat us like kings and queens in Turlock. Anna is working with local organic farmers and we got to see Store Wars, my favorite character was Obi One Canolli. Got some gas and mailed the new cd songs to Steve Jones for his radio show that’s going to be transmitted from Austin for SXSW. We are heading across the desert right now to play at the bunkhouse in Las Vegas. Just found out one of our close friends, Kyra Reed, is going to be blog guru for Music Core. Check out Kyra’s new book Blog 101 at her website kyrareed.com. See you all in Las Vegas tonight where we will melt faces with our new song “Goodis Song Everâ€?. One of the new lyrics was inspired by the beautiful princess jeri curl. It goes “nothing gets my girls hair in a braid faster than a graffiti eye, like sheep among wolves, innocent as doves when the dog bites your safari.â€? We just made a movie about a necklace. Here’s the tag line: Many hands pull at a necklace. They wish for the necklace down. “Wellâ€? says one hand, “wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up first.â€? That hand then forcefully pulls so hard it breaks the magic off. I love you.
